Nissi Beach is the postcard: a shallow bay of genuinely turquoise water wrapped around a small islet, and the Nissi Beach Resort sits directly on it. For couples chasing that water in their wedding photos, no other hotel on the island puts it closer.
Ceremonies take place at the resort's beachfront gazebo and garden areas just above the sand, with receptions on sea-view terraces and lawns shaded by pines. The resort knows its bay attracts crowds in high summer, so wedding slots are timed and positioned to keep your ceremony feeling separate from the beach scene below.
Ayia Napa's party reputation misleads: the resort itself is a calm, garden-filled four-star, and weddings here skew relaxed rather than raucous. The town's nightlife is ten minutes away when the evening calls for it.

Good to know
45 minutes from Larnaca airport. High-summer afternoons are busy on the public beach — late-afternoon ceremonies photograph best and feel calmest. Ayia Napa town hall handles the civil paperwork.
Questions
Marrying at Nissi Beach Resort
Will the public beach be in our photos?
Your photographer will frame the islet and open water rather than the sunbeds; late-day light empties the beach naturally. May, June, September and October give you the bay at its quietest.
Is Ayia Napa too lively for a family wedding?
The strip is a taxi ride away and invisible from the resort. Families with children and grandparents marry here happily — you choose how much of the town's nightlife enters your week.
Can we swim-shoot at the islet?
Yes — 'trash the dress' style sessions in the shallows around the islet are a Nissi speciality; schedule them for the morning after rather than the day itself.
