Protaras Wedding Venues
Protaras is Ayia Napa's quieter sibling: a family resort town strung along golden sand and clear shallows, anchored by Fig Tree Bay. For weddings it owns two of the island's most requested settings — the over-water ceremony jetty at the Golden Coast Beach Hotel and the clifftop Cliff Bar at the Grecian Park above Konnos Bay.

Civil ceremonies & paperwork
Protaras falls under Paralimni municipality, one of the busiest and smoothest civil-wedding offices on the island. Paperwork happens at the town hall ten minutes inland; ceremonies at the licensed hotels are fully legal.
Getting there
Larnaca airport is 45–55 minutes by motorway. Protaras's hotel strip is compact — most guests won't need transport again until the airport run home.
Booking the jetty
The Golden Coast jetty is the single most contested ceremony slot in Cyprus — sunset dates in peak months go 18+ months out. Book it first and build the rest of the wedding around it, or target May and October for realistic availability.
