The Elysium is Paphos at its most cinematic: a five-star resort built like a Byzantine palace, all stone arcades, frescoed ceilings and terraced gardens stepping down to the sea beside the Tombs of the Kings archaeological site.
Weddings here trade the classic beach-gazebo look for something more architectural: vows on a clifftop lawn or terrace with the Mediterranean behind you, drinks in colonnaded courtyards, dinner under the arches or in one of the elegant function rooms. Photographers rate the Elysium for a plain reason: no other single venue in Paphos gives them this much variety without a car journey.
It is priced above the Paphos average and feels it. Book it when the setting and the photographs are the priority; the big beach resorts win on price, not on looks.

Questions
Marrying at Elysium Hotel
Is the Elysium more expensive than other Paphos hotels?
Generally yes — budget roughly €95–140 per guest for dinner and drinks against €70–110 at four-star beach resorts. The premium buys the architecture, service level and grounds.
Can we hold both ceremony and reception outdoors?
Yes, from late April to October most couples do ceremony on the seafront lawn and dinner on a terrace. There are elegant indoor fallbacks for shoulder-season dates.
Does the hotel host more than one wedding a day?
The Elysium limits daily weddings so ceremonies do not overlap — one reason it books out early for peak dates. Enquire 12+ months ahead for June–September.
