Part of the Constantinou Bros family of hotels, the Athena Beach has married British couples for decades and runs like it: paperwork booked without asking, timings that hold, nothing improvised. The hotel stretches along the seafront promenade between Paphos harbour and Geroskipou, with lawned gardens that run down toward the water.
Ceremonies happen at a white gazebo set in those gardens with the sea as the backdrop, followed by receptions on garden terraces or in the hotel's function rooms. Menus lean generous (the group knows its British wedding crowd) and drinks packages are simple to budget.
Its sister hotels next door (including the adults-only Athena Royal) give flexibility on where guests stay, and the flat promenade means older guests get around easily. This is the venue we suggest when the guest list spans four generations.

20 minutes from Paphos airport. The promenade walk into Paphos harbour takes about 40 minutes; taxis are inexpensive. Geroskipou town hall handles civil paperwork locally.

Is the ceremony private from other hotel guests?
The gazebo sits in a dedicated corner of the gardens. Hotel guests can see a wedding is happening (part of the charm for many couples) but the area itself is reserved and set up privately for you.
Can we do an adults-only wedding here?
The Athena Beach itself is family-friendly. If you want an adults-only feel, the neighbouring Athena Royal (same group) offers it — some couples marry at one and host guests across both.
What months does the gazebo book out?
May, June, September and October go first — they combine reliable weather with kinder temperatures. Enquire around a year ahead for those.
