Columbia Beach Resort has Pissouri Bay largely to itself — a horseshoe of sea and cliff halfway between Limassol and Paphos, with vineyards climbing the hills behind. Built low in village style around lagoon pools, it is the island's benchmark for secluded, grown-up luxury.

Uniquely for a Cyprus resort, it has its own chapel: a small stone chapel where couples hold blessings and ceremonies before receptions on the sea-view terraces or beside the 100-metre lagoon pool. The bay setting means your photos belong to you: no neighbouring hotels, no strip, just sea, cliffs and vines.

This is the honeymoon-grade wedding venue. Many couples marry with 30–80 guests, then simply stay on, and pricing sits at the top of the market.

Questions

Marrying at Columbia Beach Resort

Is the chapel ceremony legally binding?

Civil ceremonies conducted at the resort by the municipality officiant are legally binding; the chapel also hosts religious blessings alongside a civil ceremony. The wedding manager sequences both.

Is Pissouri too remote for guests?

It's deliberately secluded — guests without cars rely on the resort and village. For a contained wedding-and-holiday week that's the appeal; for guests wanting resort-town buzz, look at Limassol proper.

When does it book out?

With limited weddings taken per week, peak months effectively sell out a year or more ahead. May and October are the realistic later-booking windows.
